Borussia Dortmund (BVB) head coach Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Manchester United’s main summer target Mario Gotze is now coming back to full fitness following a hip injury.
It has been revealed that the 19 year-old is almost recovered from the injury sustained in January; having not played one minute of Bundesliga football since then.
Gotze returned to training on Monday and it is hoped that he will feature in the April 11th clash with Bayern Munich. “We will slowly increase the intensity of his individual exercises to ensure that he will soon resume squad training again. If everything goes according to schedule, he will be available again pretty soon,” Dortmund director Zorc reported to German media.
The young attacking midfielder has played 14 times this season; scoring five times and contributing five further assists. A number of top European clubs are reportedly chasing his signature with Manchester United said to be the most interested in tabling a sizeable bid as they seek long term replacements for Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes.
