The clash will be a repeat of the 2011 final which Cavan won 1-10 to 0-10 and their appearance in the 2012 decider will be their third in a row.

Cavan, losers to Donegal in 2010, sealed spot thanks to a late goal from Kevin Tierney which saw off the challenge of a strong Derry side, 2-8 to 1-9 in their semi-final while Tyrone had an easier evening running out 0-16 to 1-08 winners over Down at Casement Park.

Tyrone, the 2012 Cremartin Cup winners, look to have an array of scoring options on the field with Darren McCurry, Caolan Daly, Conor McAliskey, Thomas Canavan and Richard Donnelly all popping up with scores against Down.
Tyrone have powered past Fermanagh, Donegal and the aforementioned Down to take their place in the final while Cavan were comfortable winners over Armagh before that narrow win over Derry.
The winners of the Ulster final will go forward to the All-Ireland U21 Championship semi-final where they will face Roscommon on April 21st
