Highlight of round 20 fixtures must be the squaring off of Munster and Glasgow Warriors who lie in third and fourth place in the table respectively.
The pair are level on 56 points and defeat for either would give Ulster the chance to leapfrog them as the Northern Irish outfit are just one point behind the two in the table.
One more win will seal a home semi-final spot for Leinster, though they might not even need that should other results go their way. Joe Shmidt’s men face Michael Bradley’s Edinburgh on Friday, who will also provide the opposition in the Heineken Cup semi-final for the defending champions.
Ulster face their second match against Irish opposition in less than a week as they meet up with a Connacht side who will be in confident mood following victory over Dragons.
The other team currently sitting in a home play-off spot, the Ospreys, face fellow Welsh region, the Cardiff Blues, who know that should they fail to claim any points in the game it will end their own hopes of reaching the knockout stages of the league.
With three rounds of fixtures remaining and just three points separating the sides ranked second to fifth in the table, there is everything to play for in the competition.
