New Ireland home jersey angers fans

Umbro announcement that they are releasing a new home jersey on October 5th, just in time to feature in Ireland’s game against Germany, has been met with anger by Irish fans.

The current jersey was released only a year ago and was worn at Euro 2012 and the announcement that a new version is being released has been met with negative remarks from fans.

On the Umbro Ireland Facebook announcing the release fans commented, “that’s 7 jerseys in 10 years, cash cow.”

“For fucks sake I only bought the 2012 Home shirt 6 months ago!!”

“New Jersey already? sure it’s hardly a year old? though the current one is manky… FAI are getting worse than premier league teams for kit changes… gangsters!”

“Honestly Umbro, can you justify another kit a mere 6 months after the last one? What happened to kits lasting 2 years? I hope Irish fans decide to boycott this. A disgrace.”

GreenScene.me have released a leaked picture of what they believe to be the new jersey.
