Three Irish athletes will be in morning action on Wednesday at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham.
Sophie Becker will contest the opening round of the women’s 400m at 11.05am.
Rhasidat Adeleke, who qualified late for these championships, will be next on the track when round one of the women’s 200m starts at 11.40am.
Lauren Roy, who contested the 100m on Monday, will compete in the women’s 200m as well.
Mark English, who won his round one heat on Monday, will contest the semi-finals of the men’s 800m at 12.20pm.
Nicola Tuthill will be the first Irish competitor in action during the evening session when she contests the women’s hammer final, timed for 7.45pm.
Depending on results in the morning session, Rhasidat Adeleke and Lauren Roy will hopefully take to the start line for the semi-finals of the women’s 200m at 8.20pm.
