Clare v Laois takes place in Division 1B Hurling league on Sunday. The game throws in at 2pm. We have a preview of the game, as well as team news and betting. If you can’t make the game check out the below link.
Clare are joint top of Division 1b with two wins from two games. Brian Lohan’s charges beat Carlow in their opening game comprehensively 1-27 to 0-14. They then travelled to Wexford Park and they were winners there 0-18 to 0-15 despite losing John Conlon to a red card. Clare will look to players like Pat O’Connor, Dave McInerney and Conor Cleary in defence. Tony Kelly will once again be a key man. Shane O’Donnell, Ian Galvin and Dave Reidy will be key in the forwards.
Laois come into this game having played two games and lost two games. They suffered a heavy loss to Wexford on the opening weekend. They then lost heavily to Dublin 4-18 to 2-17. Eddie Brennan will look to players like Jack Kelly, Ryan Mullaney and Ciaran McEvoy in defence. In attack, Paddy Purcell, Ross King and Willie Dunphy will be key players.
Clare are massive 1/20 favourites here. while Laois are priced at odds of 9/1. I can’t see Clare losing this if anything I can see a big hammering on the cards. Backing Clare -11 at 10/11 looks a great bet. There is no live coverage of Clare v Laois but keep an eye on our live scores.
