Kerry come into this game sitting in joint second in the league. They have three points from three games. They have one win, one loss and a draw. The draw came against Dublin 1-19 each in the opening round, while they suffered a loss to Tyrone, before beating Galway narrowly 1-15 to 2-11. Peter Keane has an abundance of talent at his disposal. In fact it’s a mixture of experienced and up and coming players. Players like Tommy Walsh, Paul Geaney and James O’Donoghue are all top class players as is David Clifford, Sean O’Shea and Peter Crowley.

Meath really need a draw here at the very least to have any hope of staying in the division next season. Andy McEntee’s men have struggled in their three games and sit on a scoring difference of -16. They lost to Tyrone 1-14 to 1-09 , then Donegal 3-08 to 0-07, before succumbing to a narrow 1 point loss to fellow relegation contenders Mayo. Donal Keogan, Bryan Menton and Thomas O’Reilly will need to have big performances here.

Eurosport & Quest to broadcast Snooker’s Shoot Out

Snooker’s Shoot Out event will be televised live by Eurosport and Quest for the first time next season.

The world ranking tournament, which has been running since 2011, has a unique set of rules, with matches lasting a maximum of ten minutes and a shot clock of 15 seconds for the first five minutes and ten seconds for the last five.

Broadcast of the event has now been incorporated into World Snooker’s long-term partnership with Eurosport and Quest, which runs until 2026. The Shoot Out brings the total number of events broadcast by Eurosport to 19 with qualifying rounds and other events available on Eurosport Player.

The 2019 Shoot Out will run from February 21-24, at the Watford Colosseum, with Eurosport and Quest as the host broadcaster.

The tournament features 128 players in a flat draw, each needing to win seven matches to take the title. Michael Georgiou captured the trophy for the first time in 2018, beating Graeme Dott in a dramatic final.

World Snooker Chairman Barry Hearn said:

“The Shoot Out is a wonderful event which has become one of the highlights of the season for fans who enjoy the fast and furious pace of play. The 2018 Shoot Out was the best I have ever seen, with so many matches going down to the last few seconds, including the final which was a great moment for Michael Georgiou. It’s a chance for up and coming players to make a name for themselves.”

The agreement to broadcast the Shoot Out supplements Eurosport’s coverage of world-class snooker throughout the season. The pan-European broadcaster already screens in excess of 800 hours of live snooker action throughout the season.

Gallway come into this game in good form and are one of the teams many expect to challenge Dublin in the league this year. The Westerners sit in joint third in the Division on points difference behind Dublin and Tyrone. Padraig Joyce has got the players playing well and fighting for each other which is what you need if you are to win big games. This is a big game as well. Speaking to the Connacht Tribune Joyce said, “The pleasing thing for us is that the players are showing real desire and real want to play for Galway and that’s a huge thing for us. We are just delighted with that.” Once again key players will be Shane Walsh and Damian Comer in attack. However, Corofin duo Ronan Steede and Liam Silke will also be key to the Galway men’s chances.

Mickey Harte’s Tyrone will travel to Tuam knowing would possibly put them top of the table this weekend. His side have made a bright start to the campaign with 2 wins from three games, the wins coming against Kerry and Meath. They did however lose 1-12 to 0-11 to Ulster rivals Monaghan. Players like Darren McCurry, Cathal McShane and Colm Cavanagh will all likely be heavily involved.

Team News

Galway: 1. Conor Gleeson, 2. Sean Kelly, 3. Sean Mulkerrin, 4. Johnny Heaney, 5. Gary O’ Donnell, 6. Liam Silke, 7. Cillian McDaid, 8. Ronan Steede, 9. Cein D’Arcy,10. Eamonn Brannigan, 11. Damien Comer 12. Michael Daly, 13. Robert Finnerty, 14. Shane Walsh (Captain), 15. Adrian Varley

Tyrone: TBA

Betting

Galway are 45 to win this game, whereas Tyrone are 11/8. The draw looks great odds at 15/2. It’s a hard game to call but home advantage swings in in Galway’s favour for me. Backing Shane Walsh at 15/2 for the first goal is also worth a bet. Galway v Tyrone is live on TG4 from 2pm.

Video – Andy Farrell names his Irish side to face England

Andy Farrell has named his Irish side to face England at Twickenham this Sunday. He has chosen to go with the same starting 15 as the side that beat Wales 24-14 in round 2. The only change to the squad of 23 sees Caelan Doris replace Max Deegan on the bench.

Once again the front row has a familiar look to it. Cian Healy and Tadhg Furlong pack down either side of Rob Herring. The Ulsterman has nailed down the role of starting hooker after taking over from his fellow clubmate Rory Best. Leinster youngster Ronan Kelleher’s time will come.

Another Ulsterman Iain Henderson retains the number 4 jersey alongside James Ryan. The back row once again is made up of O’Mahony, van der Flier and Stander.

Johnny Sexton and Conor Murray continue their experienced half-back pairing. Murray has weathered the storm surrounding the clamour for  John Cooney to get the starting role. The Munster scrum-half impressed against the Welsh. At stages during the second half, he looked back to his best.

Bundee Aki and Robbie Henshaw have over five years experience alongside each other and their performance against the Welsh more than made up for the loss of Garry Ringrose. Out wide Stockdale seems to be getting back to his best and Andrew Conway was superb last time out. Jordan Larmour continues to shine in the role of fullback.

Andy Farrell has named his Irish side to face England at Twickenham on Sunday.

This game forms part of a double header at Croke Park so a big crowd is likely, as Wexford take on Dublin at 5pm in the hurling league. Dessie Farrell’s side come into this game on top of the Division 1 table having recorded 1 win and 2 draws from three games. They beat Mayo 1-11 to 0-08, drew with Monaghan 1-15 each and also drew with Kerry 1-19 apiece. They are in a good position and a win here would only boost their chances of reaching a league final in late March. Players like James McCarthy, Brian Fenton and Ciaran Kilkenny will once again be key to the winning of this game.

Donegal are not far behind in the table in terms of points they are on 3 points, 1 point behind the Dubs. A win here for Declan Bonners men will put them in a good position also. The Tir Chonaill men have had a mixed bag of results thus far, winning 1, drawing one and losing one. The win came over Meath 3-08 to 0-07, the draw came against Mayo 0-19 to 2-13 and the loss came at the hands of Galway 2-8 to 2-07. Players like the dependable Michael Murphy, Ryan McHugh and Jamie Brennan will be key if Donegal are to come away from Croker with the win.

Team News

Teams are expected to be announced on Friday.

Dublin: TBA

Donegal: TBA

Betting

Dublin are favourites to win as they are so often these days. They are 1/3. Donegal are 3/1 outsiders to win this game. For me it’s a Dublin win by 3 or 4 points. Dublin v Donegal is live on Eir Sport at 7pm.

This is a big game for both sides with the team that loses been relegated in my opinion. Laois come into the game with three games played and three losses. They have lost to Wexford 2-27 to 2-16, Dublin 4-18 to 2-17 and then last weekend lost to Clare. Eddie Brennan has stated this is a big game for his side. Speaking to RTE Sport he said, “It’s do-or-die,” . “I think every match is that way when you’re trying to make the jump, and get up there and stay up there. “So there’s a huge value in this.” Brennan will look to players like Paddy Purcell, Ross King and Ryan Mullaney for leadership here.

Carlow also come into the game on the back of three losses from three games. They lost heavily to Clare in their first game 1-27 to 0-14, before also losing out to Dublin 0-20 to 0-09 and Kilkenny 3-21 to 0-09. Furthermore, Colm Bonnar will look to players like Marty Kavanagh, John Michael Nolan and Chris Nolan to provide the much needed scores to get a win here. Speaking to KCLR Radio Bonnar said following the loss to Dublin, “Just looking at it I suppose overall, 0-9, we do need to carry out more of a scoring threat, but we have a lot of serious players that haven’t been available to us for this league, and even on the bench we weren’t able to bring them on”.

Team News

Teams have yet to be revealed.

Laois: TBA

Carlow: TBA

Betting

Laois are 3/10 to win this game. Carlow are outsider at odds at 3/1. For me Laois should win this by 4 or 5 points. Laois -4 at 10/11 is the selection. However, There is no live coverage of Laois v Carlow so be sure to check out our updates.

Kilkenny come into this game sitting in joint second in Division 1b despite losing to Wexford last weekend 1-16 to 1-14. They won their two previous games beating Carlow easily enough 3-21 to 0-09 and Dublin 3-21 to 0-18. Brian Cody will still have to bring the Ballyhale lads back in, whether this will this weekend of not I a not so sure. Players like Alan Murphy, Billy Ryan and Richie Hogan will need to have big games here.

Clare are the form team in Division 1b at present with three wins from three games. They hammered Carlow, beat Wexford 0-18 to 0-15 and then beat Laois last weekend. Brian Lohan will be delighted with how the Banner have gone about their business so far. This is a big challenge for them though going to Nowlan Park. They will not fear Kilkenny but will need to be at their best to win. Players like Dave McInerney, Tony Kelly and Cathal Malone will be key. Aaron Shanagher could also get a start given his impressive performance from the bench against Laois where he scored three points in a matter of minutes.

Team News

Teams have not yet been announced.

Kilkenny: TBA

Clare: TBA

Betting

Kilkenny are favourites at odds of 4/7, Bria Lohans side are 7/4 to come out on top. For me it’s a Kilkenny win but it will be a close game for sure. There is no live coverage of Kilkenny v Clare but be sure to check out our updates.

5 Natural Health Supplements To Take For Muscle Strength

Natural Health Supplements – Whether you’re fond of sports and bodybuilding, or simply value physical fitness, one of the many things you need to take care of are your muscles. You need to keep your muscle mass balanced and strong. The best way to do this is to get the right nourishment that your body, and especially your muscles, needs.

Nowadays, eating the right food is not enough to obtain the required amount of minerals and vitamins since some foods lose their natural nutritional components. As they’re artificially processed and preserved, the minerals and vitamins from your food decrease. To solve such a problem, you might need to take some supplements.

Here are some of the best natural health supplements that can strengthen your muscles:

  1. Creatine

This is one of the most popular health supplements among the fitness and bodybuilding communities. It’s also one of the most studied supplements because of its health benefits. That’s why quality formulas of supplements have creatine as their fundamental ingredient.

With creatine, you can enhance your muscle functions during high-intensity exercises. Usually, adenosine triphosphate (ATP) only lasts for eight to ten seconds in your body’s cells during high-intense physical activities. If you take creatine supplements, you can increase the muscle stores of ATP. Thus, you can perform high-intensity exercises for longer periods of time.

Other benefits of creatine include increasing the water content of your muscle cells because of cell swelling. It can also increase muscle growth hormones known as the IGF-1.

Due to its long-term benefit, creatine can protect your muscles from damage caused by strenuous exercises.

  1. Protein

Another natural health supplement that can help strengthen your muscles is protein. That’s why a lot of protein-based supplements have become popular with those who want to gain muscular endurance.

Although you can strengthen your muscles by taking protein supplements, weight training and exercising can boost the effect even more. However, during weight lifting and intense activities, your muscles develop micro-tears. To combat this, you need to eat more proteins because they act as fillers and repair such tears to ensure that your muscles stay strong and resilient.

If you think that consuming excessive protein supplements is better, then think again. It’s because too much protein can increase your chances of gaining weight rather than gaining muscle, as well as increase the likelihood of developing kidney stones due to dehydration. That’s why you need to take in the right amount of protein.

Typically, for every kilogram of body weight, you’ll need at least 0.8 grams of protein if you exercise regularly. For more details on a specific amount of protein intake, you may need to consult your dietician.

  1. Magnesium

Although your body has an abundant quantity of magnesium, deficiency of such minerals can lead to a weakening of your muscles, apart from other health issues. That’s why you need to take supplements rich in magnesium if you want to maintain the right amount of it in your cells.

Magnesium-based supplements can help regulate your muscle contractions. While protein, myosin, and calcium contract your muscles, magnesium helps in relaxing your muscles. In this way, you can protect your muscles from painful spasms or cramps that can disrupt your training exercises.

  1. Beta-alanine

If you’re a vegetarian, you may need supplements rich in beta-alanine to compensate for the deficiency of this nutrient caused by dietary restrictions. Since this vitamin comes from meat products, your zero meat intake may decrease your muscle contractions.

With a suitable intake of beta-alanine, you’ll increase your muscular carnosine reserves. This carnosine is essential to enhance your muscle strength. That’s why if you’re into cardiovascular exercises like martial arts, you can expect an improvement in your activity level.

  1. Fish Oil

Lastly, you may need fish oil supplements to bolster your physical workouts. Fish oil comes from mackerel, halibut, herring, salmon, and other tissues of fatty fish. From fish oil comes omega-3 fatty acid vital to keeping your body healthy. Not only does it boost your muscle strength, but it also reduces muscle soreness after workouts.

After intense physical workouts, inflammation of your muscle cells occurs. This can prevent you from working out for a couple of days as your muscles will take time to heal. Fish oil can help in reducing muscle inflammation and damage.

During training, you can also improve your performance if you have enough omega-3 fatty acids in your body. This is because the fish oil’s anti-inflammatory properties help in the maintenance of muscle force. Thus, your muscles can contract for longer periods without much swelling.

Conclusion:

Now that you know the top 5 most recommended natural health supplements for your muscles, you’ll know which supplements and foods to include in your healthy diet and strength training. From strengthening your muscles to balancing their contractions, there is a lot that supplements can do to reinforce your physical performance. Creatine, which is the most popular, can help your muscles retain more ATP while proteins protect your muscles from micro-tears. To help regulate your muscle contractions, magnesium should also be present in sufficient quantities.

Meat products are also essential, but you can substitute beta-alanine as a supplement for strengthening your muscles. Moreover, if you’re not into fish, fish oil supplements are recommended for reducing muscle pains.

Video – Klopp’s Reaction to Liverpool losing to Madrid

Klopp’s reaction on the status of Sadio Mane and Jordan Henderson after the duo were substituted alongside Mo Salah in the Reds’ Champions League tie at the Estadio Metropolitano.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp: “I had no problem with the result. I saw so many happy faces from Atletico tonight, I get that because it’s a big win, but it’s not over yet. That’s the only thing I feel.

“The crowd wanted to help their team tonight. That makes it a very emotional game.

“Emotions are important. Tonight they were obviously completely on the side of Atletico but I am really looking forward to the second leg.”

Atletico boss Diego Simeone: “The best side in the world came here and we beat them.

“But it’s only one game down, one to go. Liverpool had their chances. They were dangerous, they’ve got good players all over the pitch.”
