Wales have named their Six Nations team to take on England at Twickenham at 4.45pm on Saturday. Wayne Pivac has included Liam Williams in the side and on the wing, while Josh Navidi is selected at number eight.

Liam Williams comes in to replace the injured Josh Adams who has an ankle injury. Adams who scored a hat trick of tries against Italy is out for the rest of the tournament. Tomos Williams comes into scrum half, while Rob Evans comes into the front row.

Pivac speaking about the selected XV said, “Liam’s return to full fitness is a positive after the loss of Josh (Adams), as is the return of Josh Navidi,”. In addition he said, “We have had the chance to put the disappointments of the loss to France behind us and we know heading to London we need to be more clinical in attack and convert the opportunities that we are creating.”

Dublin have beaten Wicklow, Longford and Meath to reach the Leinster Final. They come in as favourites and have a good record in finals. Dublin are in fact the reigning Leinster champions after they beat Laois in last seasons decide. Dublin won that game 4-18 to 0-17. Tom Gray, Dublin manager, speaking to Dubs TV said “Preparations have gone very well, we are happy with the last 10 days”. He said he has been happy enough with the performances to date. Asked about what does he expect on Laois on Friday, Gray said, I expect a huge challenge, they are an excellent team”. They have 9 or 10 guys that played last year in the Leinster Final. “He continued the scoreline last year didn’t show how well they played, we are under no illusions it’s going to be a huge challenge”.

Courtwood club man and former inter-county referee Eddie Kinsella is the man at the helm in Laois. He will be able to call on  or 10 players that played in last years Leinster Final. He will be looking to bring an underage title back to Laois for the first time since 2007. Speaking to the Leinster Express he said,“We got the timing right I’d say with regards to Championship. That was our goal. I think we’re improving every game still, even in the Championship. I think we were even better against Kildare than we were against Westmeath, and hopefully we’ll make that little step up against Dublin as well.

Kinsella is looking forward to the challenge. “If we can pull it off next Friday, I think it’ll be massive. The reason why I’m saying this is because I think these lads have never played in Croke Park before. “It’s in Carlow, so that’s nearly Laois! The more support we have in your home venues, the better. It could get you over the line by one or two points. In fairness to the people that did turn out in horrendous conditions, we have to thank them very much.

Premier League Darts Exeter – Preview, Betting, Schedule & Results

It’s another Thursday night of Premier League Darts, tonight we come from Exeter – Preview, Betting, Schedule & Results.

Luke Humphries will play tonight, having appeared at the venue 12 months ago before reaching the quarter-finals of the World Championship for a second successive year in December.

Widely-regarded as one of the hottest prospects in the sport, the 25-year-old believes that becoming the first Challenger to win a Premier League match would be the ideal next step for his development as he prepares to take on two-time champion Gary Anderson.

“Everyone knows I love playing on TV, I come alive on the big stage,” said Humphries, who drew with Gerwyn Price on his appearance in the 2019 Premier League.

“I loved every minute of it up there last year, so to return to Exeter is something I’ve been massively looking forward to since I was picked.

“There is a huge opportunity for one of us Challengers to become the first one to win a Premier League game, I think I’m well capable of being that player.

“But I know I’ll be up against one of the greatest players of all-time in Gary. He’ someone I respect massively and I can’t wait to play him on the big stage.”

Anderson, meanwhile, is enjoying life back in the Premier League having sat out the 2019 campaign through injury, and made it two wins from four against Rob Cross in Dublin last time out.

However, the two-time World Champion insists he is not paying much attention to the league table at this stage of the competition.

“As I’ve said before, I just want my game to be back where it was,” said Anderson.

“It’s getting there each week and I’m enjoying it. The darts are getting a bit tighter and when they go well, they go well but there are a few off darts now and again.

“Luke’s a great talent. He’s a classy player and one of these players who is coming through. He’s no mug and if I got beaten by him, I wouldn’t be ashamed at all.”

World number three Price is the form player heading into Night Five, with the Welshman looking to extend his 13-match winning run against Glen Durrant.

Having picked up his first title of the year at Players Championship Six, Price defeated Peter Wright to claim his opening win of the 2020 Premier League campaign, before winning the first European Tour event of the year in Belgium on Sunday.

“At the moment I feel more confident than ever,” said Price, the only undefeated player in this year’s Premier League after opening with three draws.

“I wouldn’t say I’m the best player in the world but I’m up there in the top four.

“Years ago I felt I was there to make up the numbers but now I’m not. I’m not number three in the world for no reason, I’m here because I want to win everything.

“Obviously I want to win everything, but I don’t think that’s possible with the standard I’m up against. I just want to turn up, play well and hopefully keep picking up trophies.

“First things first, I want to go to Exeter on Thursday and pick up another two points there, that’s the first thing on my mind.”

In contrast to Price, Michael van Gerwen enters March without a PDC title to his name for the first time since 2011 as he prepares to take on Michael Smith in a repeat of the 2018 Premier League final.

However, the world number one got back to winning ways in the Premier League in Dublin last week, holding his nerve to defeat Challenger William O’Connor who was well backed by over 9,000 Irish fans.

“I feel good and that’s the most important thing but I know there’s still more to come,” said Van Gerwen.

“I think my double percentage is better than ever, I only need to make sure I keep my scoring going and I’m finding the right combination. I hope I can do some more damage in the upcoming weeks.

“I’ve got a baby coming soon and it’s a busy time at home, so things are changing for me a little bit – but in a good way.

“Michael Smith is one of the biggest talents I’ve ever seen – and he knows that, but sometimes his attitude is against him. I’ve practiced with him for a long time.

“Something he doesn’t like is pressure, and when he throws just the darts he’s one of the best players I’ve seen in my life.”

Smith produced the moment of the tournament so far in Dublin last week, as he ended the near three-year wait for a Premier League nine-darter in a 7-5 victory over Daryl Gurney.

With back-to-back Premier League wins to his name, Smith heads into the contest full of confidence having defeated Van Gerwen at the Belgian Darts Championship on Sunday on his way to the final, where he lost out to Price.

“Michael’s the best player in the world and if he beats me, fair play,” Smith admitted. “I just want to keep picking up points and doing what I do.

“Just because I beat him last time out means nothing, I know he will want to get one back over me.

“Last week in Dublin was a magical moment for me, I still don’t have the words to describe it but moments like that are why we all play the game.”

Night Five will also see Nathan Aspinall look to continue his impressive start to Premier League life against World Champion Peter Wright, while Gurney will hope to end his winless run against last year’s runner-up Cross in a key contest.

The first nine nights of Premier League action will see a different Challenger in action, culminating in Judgement Night in Rotterdam on March 26 where the ninth-placed player will be eliminated.

Following Judgement Night, the remaining eight players meet once more in the remaining seven league nights in Belfast, Sheffield, Manchester, Berlin, Birmingham, Glasgow and Leeds.

The top four players then progress to face off for the title, and £250,000 top prize, in the Play-Offs at The O2 in London on Thursday May 21.

Night Five will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK, on PDCTV for Rest of the World Subscribers and through the PDC’s worldwide broadcast partners including DAZN and RTL7.

Interesting Tips to Follow For Betting On English Premier League

The English premier league is the most-watched soccer league worldwide. It has numerous fans as well as punters alike.

Betting on the EPL is a booming career that most people are seeking to taste a share of the multibillion-dollar pie. It’s one of the most competitive leagues, with each team striving to take home the champion’s league cup. Betting on EPL has a unique set of challenges among the adept as well as novice punters. Here’s a definitive EPL betting guide.

The multiple premiership bets

There are several fixture rounds that you can get to see on various betting websites, including joker123. You ought to know how many games will get played over the weekend and midweek. If you wish to make the most of the EPL betting, you need to try out multiple bets.

They are quite popular as they can increase the payout significantly with minimal monetary investment. You can select two or more teams to win a single wagering sheet.

Many online bookies hardly restrict the team numbers that one intends to back on the Premier League. However, you ought to know that the more the number of teams, the higher the risk. It also means the returns will ultimately increase. Another online gambling game that you can try while waiting for the bets to pay off is slot machines. It’s a chance to unwind and relieve any tension that you might have as a result of wagering on the EPL.

Carry out regular research & analysis

The EPL is one of the most challenging leagues to stake a bet at any time. The outcomes of the game can be unpredictable. You ought to study the news, stats, and upcoming fixtures as well as any injuries, among other details. All these play a significant role in coming up with efficient betting markets. The more knowledge you have concerning the teams, the better you become at wagering any bet.

The analysis is also vital in any gambling game, including slot games. It will enable you to know the RTP, the right max bet rule as well as how to exploit bonuses. You can also borrow a few tips from EPL betting to apply on slot games.

Season-long wagers

There’s the season’s great question when it comes to EPL. Who will emerge victorious in the premiership? The betting market is often fascinating as bookies will pinpoint around five or so teams that are likely to take the cup home. It means that there’s a high chance of getting long odds for most organizations.

Over the EPL history, only five teams have lifted the premier league cup. There’re over 38 matches before the end of each season, and it takes a strong team to emerge the winner. It means that most soccer teams with longer odds might fail to win the title.

Nonetheless, you can enjoy season-long bets for teams that will scoop the 2nd and 3rd place.

Online gambling from slot machines to EPL betting is quite impressive. The beauty of different online betting websites, including joker123, is that you can choose any gambling game, including slots. Betting on EPL doesn’t have to be challenging. You ought to adhere to the above guidelines and emerge a winner.

João Souza Permanently Banned From Professional Tennis

João Souza, a player who was once ranked as 69th in ATP men’s tennis ranking got permanently banned from professional tennis. He has been suspended from tennis due to match-fixing.

Match Fixing in Tennis

The issue of match-fixing in tennis is an ongoing problem and there is nothing we can do about it. Truth to be told, tennis is a sport where is relatively easy to fix matches due to its nature. It is a game between only 2 players and one of them can easily take a bribe and lose on purpose. It is really hard to catch them but once they are caught, it means lifetime suspension.

Even a former professional Russian player Nikolay Davydenko, who was one No. 3 on AWP men’s tennis ranking, was allegedly accused of match-fixing but he was cleared of all accusations by the Tennis Integrity Unit (TIU).

However, match-fixing in tennis is very rare in the Top 100 and every good player does not want to involve in that and take the risk. That’s why we suggest every bettor not to bet on low-tier tournaments. Instead, bet on high-tier tournaments and avoid any potential fixed matches. Check out the current tennis rankings on this link and try to bet only on players from that list: https://tennisbetslab.com/tennis-rankings/.

João Souza Lifetime Suspension From Professional Tennis

This 31 years old player was in top form just 4 years ago. He was in Top 100 on ATP list a therefore able to participate on Gland Slam tournaments. What could possibly happen to make him do this?

As we all know his career has gone downhill ever since and that is probably the main reason why he turned to match-fixing. It is common knowledge that the money one tennis player could potentially earn former Challenger and Future tournaments isn’t enough to cover the costs of a professional tennis player. He knew that he can earn more by fixing matches and that is exactly what he has done.

A special Tennis Integrity Unit (TIU) has revealed in its investigation that the Brazilian had several anti-corruption offences between 2015 and 2019. He fixed matches at second and third class Challengers and Futures in Brazil, Mexico, the United States and the Czech Republic.

During the investigation, he failed to cooperate with TIU and even destroyed evidence. In addition to participating in this fraud himself, he was also accused of encouraging others to participate as well.

Souza was originally suspended in March last year and has been suspended from tennis for the duration of his investigation. After the finish of the investigation, he got permanently banned and has to pay an additional fine of $ 200,000 for a disciplinary hearing in London which happened on January 14.

This was a big slap to the tennis world and we hope it won’t happen again in the near future. What do you think about match-fixing in tennis? Let us know your thoughts in the comments down below.

Six Nations: Italy v England looks set to be cancelled

Italy v England will either be played behind closed doors at the Stadio Olimpico or cancelled due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

Italy has been hit dreadfully with the disease. The news comes after the Italian government announced on Wednesday that all sporting events in the country will not be open to the public till April 3rd. This of course is in an attempt to stop the spread of Covid 19.

RTE Sport that the Italian rugby federation and Italian Olympic Committee have already confirmed to PA news agency that the Italy v England will be played at a later date. However, this will likely be confirmed on Thursday when Six Nations organisers will meet both unions (Italian and English) to discuss the fate of the game.

The game will be difficult to reschedule owing to the hectic rugby fixture calendar. However the Italian rugby board will not want to see the game called off altogether. This would be due to potential revenue it would bring in. Furthermore, Ireland are set to meet France also on March 14th. This could potentially called off due to the amount of Covid 19 cases in France. Their game with Italy this weekend due to take place in the Aviva is already postponed.

A statement released by the Italian government said, “There will be no sporting events with the presence of the public in order to prevent further contagion opportunities.”  Some big events that will be affected included the Serie A fixtures. Napoli and Inter Milan in the Coppa Italia semi-final was postponed on Wednesday. Juventus’ Champions League tie with Lyon set to be played in Turin will also know be played behind closed doors. The coronavirus has seen Italy suffer with 3,000 cases so far. This includes over 100 deaths. At the moment 11 regions in Italy are on lockdown. The government of Ireland are also saying to Irish people not to travel to these regions.

Kerry crowned Munster U20 Football Champions

Kerry were crowned Munster U20 Football Champions on Wednesday after a 0-17 to 1-09, five point win, over Cork at Austin Stack Park.

John Sugrue’s side were full value for that five point win as they blew the Rebels away with a super second half performance. In fact Kerry outscored the Munster holders by 0-12 to 0-03 in the second period alone. They will now play the winners of the Connacht Final on St Patrick’s Day. This will be either Galway or Roscommon.

It took 5 minutes for the first score to be registered through man of the match O’Beaglaoich from a free. Patrick Darcy and Killian Falvey nudged Kerry 0-03 to 0-01 ahead but Mark Cronin and Blake Murphy replied. Kerry should have a goal before that though. O’Beaglaoich racing through before hand passing the ball across the square to Darcy who hesitated and saw his shot stopped on the line by Cork defenders.

It should have been a goal. It was 0-04 each now. Aodhan O’Luasa then slipped Blake Murphy through for a Cork goal. Murphy had a lot of work to do but he did well and finished past Marc Kelliher in the Kerry goal. He would add two points to give Cork a 1-06 to 0-05 lead at the break. Kerry had kicked five wides in the opening half but luckily for them they didn’t regret it in the second period.

Kerry took control in the second half. Darragh Lyne and Paul Walsh kicked early scores. Mark Cronin kicked a superb long range point to keep Cork in the lead. Kerry began to dominate in midfield though. They were working harder than their opponents and this told. O’Beaglaoich knocked over another free. The teams were level when Paul O’Shea and Sean Horan pointed. O’Beaglaoich then knocked over two scores, one of these from a mark. Sean Quilter pushed the Kingdom three ahead with a tidy score, 0-14 to 1-08.

Blake Murphy kicked a Cork score but Kerry weren’t going to be denied. Sean Keane and O’Beaglaoich (2) gave Kerry a deserving 5 point win in the end. We tipped up Kerry earlier today to win and they did just that as they were crowned Munster U20 Football Champions.

Kerry: Marc Kelliher, Owen Fitzgerald, James McCarthy, Dan McCarthy, Luke Brosnan, Dylan Casey, Sean O’Brien, Darragh Lyne 0-01, Michael O’Gara, Paul Walsh 0-03 (frees), Patrick Darcy 0-02, Killian Falvey 0-01, Paul O’Shea 0-01, Sean Horan 0-01, Ruaidhri O Beaglaoich 0-05 (0-02f, 0-01m).

Subs: Eddie Horan for O Fitzgerald (ht), Sean Keane 0-01 for P Walsh (44), Sean Quilter 0-02 (0-01f) for K Falvey (46), Sean O’Connell for S Horan (49), Dylan Geaney for P Darcy (54).

Cork: Cian O’Leary, Colm O’Shea, Daniel O’Mahony, Diarmuid Phelan, David Buckley, Billy Foley, Eanna O’Hanlon, Jack Lawton, Daniel O’Connell, Jack Murphy 0-01, Aodhan Ó Luasa, Brian Hayes, Mark Cronin 0-04 (0-01f), Fionn Herlihy 0-01, Blake Murphy 1-03.

Galway and Tipperary meet on Sunday in this refixed game at Pearse Stadium. Storm Dennis caused the game to be cancelled last month. This is a winners take all game with the side that wins progressing to the quarter final stages where they will play either Kilkenny or Wexford.

Shane O’Neill’s side have 2 wins and 2 losses from the four games. Galway triumphed over Westmeath easily, while also beating Cork last weekend. They lost out to Limerick and Tipperary in previous rounds. Galway will look to players like Jason Flynn, Conor Whelan and Brian Concannon in attack. Players like Shane Cooney, Gearoid McInerney and Cathal Mannion will also be key.

Tipperary have also 2 wins from four games. Liam Sheedy will be looking for a big performance from his side here. They haven’t yet hit the heights of the All-Ireland win in 2019 but they have the players that can really hurt Galway here that’s for sure. Players like Seamus Callanan, Dillion Quirke and John McGrath will likely be key here. Padraic Maher will once again be pivotal in the heart of the defence.

Team News

Galway (HL1 v Tipperary): James Skehill; Darren Morrissey, Gearoid McInerney, Sean Loftus; Padraic Mannion, Shane Cooney, Fintan Burke; Adrian Tuohy, Aidan Harte; Cathal Mannion, Niall Burke, Jason Flynn; Conor Cooney, Conor Whelan, Brian Concannon

Tipperary (HL1 v Galway): Brian Hogan; Paul Maher, Barry Heffernan, Alan Flynn; Seamus Kennedy, Padraic Maher, Ronan Maher; Noel McGrath, Ger Browne; Jason Forde, John McGrath, Dillon Quirke; John O’Dwyer, Seamus Callanan, Cian Darcy.

Betting

Tipperary are 10/11 to win this game, while Galway are 11/10. Not much to separate the sides. Tipperary will want an extra game that’s for sure and I suspect when push comes to shove in this game they will get a narrow win. Galway v Tipperary is live on TG4 at 2pm.

Limerick v Waterford: Preview, Team News and live score updates

Limerick v Waterford takes place at 7pm on Saturday. The game takes place in the Gaelic Grounds. We have live score updates of the game. These can be followed from the below link.

This game is a refixture due to Storm Dennis. Both sides are all but guaranteed places in the quarter-finals at least but they will want to win this as the winner will top the division an go straight to the semi-finals. The losers will face either Kilkenny or Wexford in the quarter-finals.

Limerick sit on 8 points, meaning they have won 4 games from 4 played. They have a good score difference of +21 also. John Kiely’s side have played some good hurling in beating Tipperary, Cork, Westmeath and Galway on the way. Kiely will likely start a strong side here. Cian Lynch, Graeme Mulcahy and Declan Hannon will all be key players for them here.

Waterford come into the game on the back of a 2 point loss to Tipperary last weekend. Liam Cahill would have been disappointed not to come away with something from that game. He will also be disappointed that Kevin Moran will miss the game due to picking up a red card. They have talent all over the field though with Pauric Mahony, Austin Gleeson, Dessie Hutchinson and Stephen Bennett in their ranks. Jamie Barron is also a real leader in midfield.

Betting

Limerick are 1/3 favourites here, while Waterford are 11/4. For me it has to be a Limerick win. Backing Limerick to be leading at half time at 8/15 would be the selection. Limerick v Waterford is live on Eir Sport.
