Kyle Hayes left out of Limericks starting team to play Tipperary

In preparation for the upcoming Allianz Hurling League Division 1B showdown against Tipperary at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, Limerick’s lineup is notably absent of Kyle Hayes.

Click here for Live GAA scores

Hayes, a five-time All-Ireland SHC victor, finds himself excluded from the 26-man squad as he awaits sentencing following his involvement in a violent disorder incident on March 20. This decision underscores the team’s commitment to maintaining discipline both on and off the field, prioritizing accountability and fair play.

Limerick manager John Kiely has made significant adjustments to the squad in light of Hayes’ absence. The team that delivered a commanding performance against Dublin sees five changes, with notable inclusions such as Aaron Gillane, the reigning Hurler of the Year, and Cian Lynch, a two-time recipient of the same accolade. As they make their debut starts of the season, their presence adds depth and experience to the lineup, reinforcing Limerick’s pursuit of excellence in the Allianz Hurling League. This strategic reshuffling reflects Kiely’s astute management style, ensuring that the team remains competitive and dynamic in the face of challenges.

Saudi Arabian Grand Prix: Alonso Leads Second Practice, Hamilton Struggles

Saudi Arabian Grand Prix: Alonso Leads Second Practice, Hamilton Struggles

In the second practice session of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin emerged as the fastest driver, outpacing his competitors. Let’s delve into the highlights of the session and analyze the performance of the drivers.

**Alonso Tops the Charts:**
Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso showcased impressive pace, securing the top spot ahead of Mercedes’ George Russell and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. Alonso’s lead of 0.230 seconds over Russell and 0.331 seconds over Verstappen highlights his commanding performance.

**Leclerc Trails Behind:**
Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc trailed in fourth place, 0.353 seconds behind Alonso, indicating a competitive field where even slight differences in timing make a significant impact.

**Hamilton’s Struggles:**
Seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton faced challenges, finishing in eighth place, trailing teammate Russell by 0.296 seconds. Hamilton expressed concerns about lacking confidence in the rear of his car, emphasizing the importance of stability in high-speed areas.

**Challenges for Mercedes:**
Mercedes drivers encountered difficulties with rear-end grip during short runs, reflecting on potential setup issues that affected their performance. Alonso’s utilization of a higher engine power mode may have contributed to his dominance in the session.

**Verstappen’s Consistency:**
Although not the fastest over one lap, Max Verstappen showcased consistent pace during long runs, reaffirming Red Bull’s competitiveness in race simulations. Verstappen’s prowess on a full fuel load poses a significant threat to his rivals.

**Incidents and Impeding:**
The session witnessed several incidents of impeding, attributed to the challenging track layout characterized by swerving sections and limited visibility due to surrounding walls. Hamilton faced scrutiny for impeding Williams’ Logan Sergeant, resulting in an official warning and a fine for his team.

**Conclusion:**
As the second practice session concluded, Fernando Alonso’s impressive performance sets the stage for an exciting race weekend. With notable challenges for Mercedes and Red Bull’s consistent pace, the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix promises thrilling battles on the track.

Anthony Joshua v Francis Ngannou Fight Preview and Predictions

The heavyweight showdown between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou promises to be a clash of titans, captivating fans worldwide. As both fighters step into the ring at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Friday, March 8, anticipation reaches a fever pitch. Joshua, the seasoned boxing champion, brings a wealth of experience and technical prowess, while Ngannou, the MMA powerhouse, boasts raw, unbridled power that has mesmerized audiences in the octagon.

Marketed as ‘Knockout Chaos,’ this bout embodies the explosive potential inherent in heavyweight boxing. Joshua’s trajectory in the betting odds, drifting slightly in the lead-up to the fight, suggests a shifting landscape, perhaps influenced by the fervent support from Ngannou’s legion of MMA followers. Despite the odds, Joshua remains the favorite, with his commanding presence and proven track record in the ring.

Ngannou’s transition from MMA to boxing has been met with both excitement and skepticism. His ability to generate bone-crushing knockouts in the octagon is undeniable, as evidenced by his electrifying victory over Tyson Fury. However, the transition to the squared circle presents a new set of challenges, requiring nuanced footwork and defensive skills that may not be his forte. Yet, Ngannou’s raw athleticism and sheer punching power cannot be underestimated, making him a formidable opponent for any heavyweight.

As the two giants square off, the dynamics of the fight come into sharp focus. Joshua’s technical proficiency and disciplined approach contrast with Ngannou’s aggressive style and devastating knockout potential. The Cameroonian’s forward pressure and wide-guard stance aim to close the distance and unleash his formidable power, while Joshua seeks to maintain range and exploit openings with his precision punching.

The total rounds line set at 7.5 indicates expectations of a swift, high-impact encounter. With both fighters possessing the ability to end the fight with a single blow, the outcome hangs in the balance, teetering on the edge of chaos. The scorching temperatures of Riyadh further add to the intensity, as fatigue becomes a factor in the later rounds.

In the end, the clash between Joshua and Ngannou transcends mere sport, embodying the primal essence of combat. It’s a battle for supremacy, a test of wills, and a spectacle that captures the imagination of fight fans worldwide. EPL Relegation Battle: Who Will Survive?

As the Premier League season edges towards its climax, the fight to avoid the drop is as fierce as ever.

With teams languishing at the bottom of the table, every match becomes a potential lifeline or a step closer to the abyss of relegation. The question on every football fan’s lips is: Who will muster the strength to climb to safety, and who will succumb to the Championship’s beckoning? Let’s delve into the current state of play.

The Current Standings

The Premier League table, as of early March, paints a picture of desperation for several clubs. Luton Town, sitting in 18th place with 20 points, finds itself in the relegation zone but within touching distance of salvation, only eight points behind 14th-placed Crystal Palace. Meanwhile, Sheffield United and Burnley appear to be in dire straits, both 11 points adrift from safety and seemingly destined for the drop.

Bournemouth’s recent victory has provided them with a cushion above the danger zone, but they cannot rest easy just yet. Everton and Nottingham Forest are also embroiled in this survival scrap, with the added complication of potential points deductions hanging over their heads due to alleged financial irregularities.

The Financial Fair Play Cloud

Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations aim to prevent clubs from spending beyond their means, but Everton and Nottingham Forest have found themselves under scrutiny for potential breaches. Everton’s immediate 10-point deduction was reduced to six on appeal, while Forest awaits the outcome of their hearing. These decisions could significantly impact the relegation battle, adding an extra layer of unpredictability to an already tense situation.

The Run-In

The remaining fixtures for these clubs are fraught with challenges and opportunities. Each game is a chance to secure vital points, and the scheduling could be crucial in determining who stays up. For instance, Bournemouth’s upcoming matches include encounters with fellow strugglers Sheffield United and Luton, which could be pivotal in their quest for survival.

Crystal Palace, Brentford, Everton, and Nottingham Forest all face a mix of top-half teams and direct rivals in their final games. Their ability to snatch points from these encounters will likely decide their fate.

Predictive Models and Football Match Odds

Data specialists and predictive models offer a glimpse into the possible outcomes of this relegation dogfight. According to Opta’s ‘supercomputer,’ the likelihood of relegation varies significantly among the teams, with Burnley and Sheffield United facing the highest probability of going down. However, football match odds can shift dramatically with each game, and the sport’s unpredictable nature means nothing is set in stone.

The Human Element

In the end, it’s the players and managers who will determine their club’s destiny. The mental and physical fortitude to perform under pressure, the tactical acumen to outwit opponents, and the sheer will to win are intangible factors that no model can predict. The teams that can harness these qualities when it matters most will likely be the ones celebrating come May.

In summary, the Premier League relegation battle is a complex web of tactics, nerves, and resilience. With financial penalties adding to the drama, the final weeks promise to be a rollercoaster ride for the clubs involved. As fans, we can only watch, wait, and wonder who will emerge from the fray unscathed.

Celebrity Sightings at the Cheltenham Festival – Who Is Expected This Year

As such, it manages to attract a lot of visitors from all around the globe, especially from the UK and Ireland. Among them are of course many celebrities that are into this type of sport.

However, over the years we are seeing more and more famous people who don’t follow horse racing at all. Regardless, in this article, we will reveal the top celebrities that we can find at the Cheltenham Festival this year.

The Royal Family

Several members of the Royal Family are almost always present on at least one of the horse racing days. Last year, Princess Royal’s daughter, Zara Tindall, and her husband Mike Tindall appeared at the Cheltenham Festival.

At the same time, we also saw Camilla’s appearance at the Festival for the first time as Queen Consort. In 2015, Princess Anne opened the stand named in her honour, as well as the Queen Consort. She is also an Honorary Member of the Jockey Club and often goes to horse racing events.

It’s still uncertain which Royal Family member will appear on the stands of this year’s edition of the Cheltenham Festival. But, one thing is certain, they all love spending a day at the horse races.

The Celebrities That Will Attend at the Cheltenham Festival

Apart from the Royal Family members, there will be numerous other celebrities at the Cheltenham Festival. Many of these famous personalities are interested in horse racing events, while some of them are there just for the experience.

There are also certain celebrities who like to spend some money wagering on horse races. This is actually a very common activity at this Festival. If you are interested in horse racing betting then you can also check out the Cheltenham tips on Tuesday.

Mary Berry

As for the actual celebrities that will visit the Festival, we are currently aware of five of them. First, we have the 88-year-old baker and TV presenter, Mary Berry.

She is a well-known horse racing fan who regularly appears on these types of events. Her last appearance at the Cheltenham Festival was back in 2019 during the Ladies Day.

Ferne McCann

Next is Ferne McCann, a well-known TV presenter and personality. In the past, she was a cast member of the ITVBereality series The Only Way Is Essex. She even participated in the reality show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

McCann isn’t a big horse racing fan, as we haven’t seen here before at the racing courts. However, as we noted, the Cheltenham Festival attracts many people, even those who are just starting out with this sport.

Vogue Williams

Another celebrity who will appear at the Cheltenham Festival is Irish media presenter, podcaster, and model Vogue Williams. But, she won’t only visit the horse racing event but also perform at one of the after-parties.

Williams will have its own DJ set after the Style Wednesday comes to an end. She will entertain the visitors at The Centaur venue. It’s worth mentioning that Vogue Williams appeared at the Cheltenham Festivals in 2016, 2019, and 2020.  This shows how much she admires this horse racing event.

Curtis Pritchard

The dancer and star from the reality show Love Island, Curtis Pritchard, will also appear at the Cheltenham Festival. This famous dancer and choreographer participated in the Irish version of Dancing with the Stars.

Visitors saw Pritchard at the 2022 Cheltenham Festival on day four. He was also present at last year’s edition of the Festival, which shows his affection for this event.

Chloe Kelly

Last but not least, we have Chloe Kelly, the famous football player and Lioness. The general public in the UK knows her from her incredible winning goal in the 2022 Women’s Euro Final. On a club level, Kelly plays for Manchester City but had previously played for Arsenal and Everton.

This will be her first time attending the Cheltenham Festival andpossibly the first ever big horse racing event. It’s very likely Kelly to appear at the Festival with their long-term boyfriend and fiance Scott Moore.

Intriguing April Ahead in Battle for Premier League Title

The clock is counting down to a thrilling climax in the 2023/24 English Premier League season.

April looks likely to be a key month in determining who will win the title. Will it be a fourth successive win for Manchester City or could Liverpool and Arsenal dethrone the reigning champions?

Perhaps even Aston Villa might be able to go on a great run and close the gap at the top. They will have an opportunity to do that on April 3 when playing Manchester City at the Etihad. A win there could shake things up at the top of the table. Not coming home with a win will make it even more of a three-horse race.

City are known for their long winning streaks that lead to trophies being won. After the Villa match, they travel to Crystal Palace before hosting Luton Town. Six more points look on their way. April ends with potentially awkward trips to Tottenham and Nottingham Forest.

Betting on the English Premier League is incredibly popular all over the world. After allowing private companies to operate in Ontario, Canadians have been enjoying making online bets. https://twin.com/bets/soccer/england/1970324836975359-premier-league is a popular gambling site in Canada as gamblers seek the latest odds on the English Premier League.

How many trophies will Jurgen Klopp win in his final season at Anfield? Liverpool have already won the Carabao Cup and are going well in the English Premier League. They should get April off to a flying start with a home game against Sheffield United.

That’s followed by an away game at Old Trafford against Manchester United. It’s tight at the top and even drawing games could be very costly in the run-in. The Reds then host Crystal Palace before two trips to London. Fulham and West Ham are the opponents and they could be tricky games. They’ll want wins though as May begins with matches against Tottenham and Aston Villa.

Arsenal made a bold bid to win the English Premier League last season. It was in the run-in when their bid to finish above Manchester City began to falter, will that happen again this season.

The Gunners have been firing on all cylinders in 2024 with goals aplenty. The chants of ‘1-0 to the Arsenal’ haven’t been heard for ages. April could start with a few more goals as they host Luton Town.

Of their next four league fixtures in April, three are on the road. They go to Brighton and Hove Albion, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham. All of those matches aren’t straightforward wins. The month ends with a more winnable home game against Bournemouth.

April is going to be a fascinating month in the English Premier League. Plenty of twists and turns could well be on the way.
